It's being printed.....

Updated: Aug 7, 2021

It's been a while since we've blogged - there aren't enough hours in the day to get things done!

Our new book is being printed and should be here quite soon! This one is done by both Scott and I - our first collaboration together in book form! It's another in the Naturalist's Guide series, this time featuring Australian snakes. This took us over a year to write, research, locate pictures from others and take our own pictures and of course edit and proof. A Naturalist's Guide to the Snakes of Australia is due for release in mid October.

The Naturalist's Guide to the Snakes of Australia covers all of Australia’s 236 (correct at time of print) species and sub-species. Each species account has a has authorative text describing identifying features, distribution habits and habitat. The size, common and scientific names are also listed with full colour photos from some of our most talented photographers.

There is also an overview of snake bites and first aid, habitat and identification. A complete up to date checklist of all the Australian species covering distribution in each state and global conservation status has been included.

It's funny you don't look at a book and think it was a 2 min job, but until you actually do one and have it published, you don't realise just how long a process it actually is! We are so proud of the end result, and hope you like it as much as we do!
