A Naturalist's Guide to the Lizard's of Australia. The latest instalment Nature 4 You has done with the awesome team at John Beaufoy publishing.
We love working with John Beaufoy Publishing. This is the third book we have done for the fantastic team at John Beaufoy Publishing. The first was A Naturalist's Guide to the Dangerous Creatures of Australia - which Scott co authored with Peter Rowland in 2018 The boys then worked back to back on A Naturalist's guide to the Frogs of Australia (also in 2018). Scott and I then undertook A Naturalist's Guide to the Snakes of Australia in 2019. Two years on and we are excited to share with you all A Naturalist's Guide to the Lizards of Australia.
A Naturalist's Guide to the Lizards of Australia features 280 of Australia's most beautiful, unusual and commonly encountered lizard species. This lavishly illustrated guide provides a thorough introduction to the land of the lizard.
Stunning photographs from Australia's top nature photographers are accompanied by detailed species descriptions, which include nomenclature, size, distribution, habits and habitat. The user-friendly introduction covers the geography and climate of Australia, types of habitat, and details of orders and families. Also included is an all-important checklist of all of the lizards of Australia encompassing, for each species, its common and scientific name, which state it is present in and its IUCN Red List status.
