The Snakes of the Moluccas (Maluku), Indonesia by Ruud de Lang.

This field guide fills the gap that was present in the knowledge of Moluccan snakes. The book contains a key (in English and Bahasa Indonesian) to identify all the snake species. There are to date, 49 in total, plus the genus Acantophis, (of which the number of species in the Moluccas has not had enough work done on to accurately establish numbers). Each species descriptions give data on external morphology, colour, habits, habitat and distribution, and aid in identifying specimens easily.  This book showcases colour photographs of both snakes and habitat.
